My Calligraphy Journey
I started this blog to record my personal journey in Calligraphy but somehow did not take off as planned. So, here I am on 3 February 2026 making the first move to break the ice and hopefully continue to post updates in this blog. Personal Project 120 names of my secondary school mates in Roman Capital The above photo is my current personal project writing the names of 120 of my secondary school mates with the Roman Numeral 7377 as the title. It is a slow progress writing names at 4mm X-height on A3 drawing paper. The paper type and quality is so crucial in getting a smooth writing. This cheap drawing paper picked up from a normal bookstore does not do justice and does not produce the finish as I wanted and expected. Perhaps I should get a heavier hot-pressed paper to try and see if I can get better result with dip pen/ calligraphy nib. Ok. Lemme get back to my calligraphy works. Will update soon.
